Karate Classes for Kids Now Starting in Danesfort

Karate Classes for Kids will start in Danesfort Community Centre on Wednesday 4th April. Classes will run from 4pm – 5pm every week.

The classes are open to boys and girls aged between 4 years and 12 years old.

First Class is free. To book your place please call 086 3668669.

Members of the club will be taught karate techniques and self-defence drills. There will also be a strong focus on physical fitness. Plenty of fun and games will also be incorporated in to the classes.

Karate has many proven benefits for kids both physical and mentally. Some of which are listed below:

The classes will be run by the Budo Martial Arts Centre. This Kilkenny club is already very well established in Kilkenny and has a large number of kids who train regularly in the clubs Kilkenny City venue’s, the Watershed and the Loreto Sports Hall. The first class is free of charge for all kids interested in trying out karate. No special gear is needed, just turn up in a tracksuit and away you go.
